Living far off from the workplace is a boon as well as a curse. I realised that it is important to change my attitude towards having to travel a long distance. Everyday as I undertake the ardous journey to reach the place where I live, I cross this brightly-lit shoe shop. For about 20 days now, I have been crossing and watching this shoe shop as I pass through the area. It is located strategically- immediately after a bend on the road and to the left side of the road which makes it convenient for me to see. I peep out to see this shop. It has fascinated me not just because it is brightly-lit but because all these days I have seen the same scene- three bright red plastic chairs placed at one side of the widely open shop, two young boys and one middle-aged man sitting on these chairs. Sometimes they are laughing, sometimes silently watching the innumerable vehicles pass by. It is interesting. Somehow, all these days I have never seen customers in the shop.
